The LSPS District #2 will be hosting a Fall Technical Session on Friday, October 27th from 7:30am – 2:30pm. Spaces are limited so please RSVP today. Denis Riordan, Gulf Coast Region Geodetic Advisor, NOAA, National Geodetic Survey — Mr. Riordan is a Geodesist with the National Geodetic Survey (NGS) and serves as the Geodetic Advisor for the NGS Gulf Coast Region (AL, FL, LA, & MS). He works to guide, assist, and support those that use NGS products and services. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Surveying and Mapping and is licensed as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper in the State of Florida.
Michael Michalski, Oceanographer / Datums team lead, NOAA, Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services (CO-OPS) — Mr. Michalski is presently involved in tidal datum computation and multiple studies of tidal and geodetic relationships throughout the 50 United States and its territories. He has also been involved with the development and review of NOAA’s Vertical Datum Transformation software tool (VDATUM).
